
The blood-smeared handprint on the entrance door fared far from a warm welcome. Cautiously they pushed the door open. Shivers running down their spines.
“Hello,” one of them said in a shaking voice.
But there was no reply. A sudden gust of wind made the hinges squeak and one of them turned around, running back to the road.
The remaining two exchanged a look of terror, after looking inside. More blood, slowly creeping down the hallway walls and even dripping from the ceiling. As their eyes adjusted to the dim light, a devastating scene revealed itself to them. A torn, blood-soaked coat lay next to a smashed-up vase. The little cabinet for keys spread scattered all around…
“Is that…,” but the second one couldn’t finish his sentence, looking at what appeared to be a ripped out eyeball and an index finger. The unexpected whiff of rotten flesh almost turned them green. They were about to turn and run, when…
“MUHAHAHA,” the metallic laughter boomed through the house, leaving them screaming, crying and running in fear.
